Trouble-Shooting
| I've just installed the updated version of I-WayInfo over an older version of I-WayInfo. The first time I try to run it on my Palm, it freezes and needs to be reset. Try the following: If it exists, run 'UnInstall.exe' in the I-WayInfo Installation folder. Close the HotSync® Manager. From the Windows Taskbar, right-click on the HotSync® Manager icon. Select 'Exit' from the pop-up menu. If it exists, delete the I-WayInfo Installation folder and its contents. Search your entire harddrive for the following files, and delete them. iWayInfo.dll iWayInfo.ini Re-install I-WayInfo. |

I can create a DataSet using the I-WayInfo Data Installer, but after HotSyncing twice I still can't load the DataSet onto
my Palm® handheld.
Try the following:
Click on the HotSync icon (red and blue arrows chasing each other) in
your Window's toolbar.
Select 'Custom'
Is 'I-WayInfo' listed as a conduit?
Is the action 'Desktop overwrites handheld'?
If the DataSet still does not load into the Palm® handheld:
Download and install the latest version of the Palm Desktop from the following link...

I purchased and installed the full release version of I-WayInfo, but I still only see every other exit. Try the following: -
Run UnInstall.exe in the I-WayInfo installation folder (usual path is C:\Program Files\I-WayInfo). -
Open the Control Panel (Start --> Settings --> Control Panel). -
Run 'Add/Remove Programs'. -
Select 'I-WayInfo'. -
Click on the 'Add/Remove' button, and follow directions. -
Delete the I-WayInfo installation folder. -
Reinstall the full release version of I-WayInfo. |
